TASMANIAN WEST

West coast, best coast - Regardless of where you are in the world it will always be exceptionally remote, beautifully wild and a smidge cannibalistic…

The South West seems to be devoid of any form of human life. But despite this (and probably fitting), it is hands down the grandest and most stunning corners of this island. Close to one third of Tasmania is untouched and inaccessible. If only the same could be said for the rest of the world.

Attempted to quench Sam’s thirst for mountains but apparently that’s an unobtainable goal. Turns out his navigation is also far superior when realising the previous time I “summited” Mount Murchison was indeed not the summit. Win some, lose most. All I hope is places such as Murchison retain their innocence. They don’t need us.
